In every home, big or small, the place of worship is exclusive and this is the place of solace for every one. With the living space getting limited and scarce, separate pooja room is a thing of past. However, every one feels earnest about housing the deities in a good ambience, within the home.
JFA has understood this sentiments and come out with a solution: It’s the OM POOJA MANDAPAM which is designed to give the ambience of an “in home temple”. The Om Pooja Mandapam has the facility to seat the deities elegantly and keep all pooja materials, offerings etc. in an orderly manner. After prayer or pooja, it can be kept closed, as in temple. A study revealed that many who believe in Vastu preferred a specific direction for keeping the idol or pictures of their favourite deities . This was invariably not possible because of the structure of the flat. Om Pooja Mandapam helps them in conforming to this Vastu norms.
Om Pooja Mandapam is coming in different sizes ranging from 10” to 6’. There are 50 models to suit the individual taste and budget. Each model is designed to give a good sense of aesthetics. The genereal design for the Om Pooja mandapam, with all its features, is done by the temple architects (sthapathis) as per the ancient design rules for vastu, for temples. It is made out of high quality wood, duly treated for heat resistant, termite resistant, water and oil resistant, using state of the art process technology. It is currently presented in 5 finishes (Cherry, Rosewood, Teakwood, Maple, Natural). It has the option of having the ceramic tiles or marble base.
Om is a universal cosmic word and that is why JFA named the Pooja cabinet as Om Pooja Cabinet. It transcends all religion and facilitate every one to offer the prayer in solace.
